When F.R. Baumgart invented the first safety key switch with profile half-cylinder (former patent no. 2208019) and filed a patent in the year 1968, he didn’t know, that his grandchildren would run the business in the third generation half-century later. Thanks to its various European and German patents, geba is still one of the leading entities in the European supply industry for automatically operated doors and gates. Long-standing expertise, new patents and the quick implementation of suggestions from our customers have led to a continuous expansion of the product range. The portfolio comprises nearly all electrical and electronic systems required for the control of electrified doors or gates.

For the manufacture of parts for our own production, we can rely on various European and German patents. This is the result of consistent development work and our efforts to secure the benefits of new technologies for our customers by licensing. Thanks to the continuous further development, our products are always up to date, enabling us to further expand our market leadership position. Of course, complying with guidelines such as VDE, BS and KEMA and thus operating in line with market requirements is a necessity nowadays.Safety and quality are certainly the maxim in the production according to our employees and are implemented in all our control devices.
